This classic fixed gear is 20 lbs ready to ride with 59 inch gearing.
Today was cold and windy, but sunny. Two long-sleeved, wool jerseys and shorts worked well for a brisk 15 mile workout in two sections. Sheryl accompanied me on her LeMond Zurich during the second session. We were both hungry by the end.
This is a fun cold weather bike. It was once my track competition bike. Now with brakes, it works well on the road for early season fixed gear work. A refresh to the 30 year old paint job is probably in order, but nothing rusts here in Arizona, so it probably won’t happen.
Out of curiosity, I weighed this bike today and found it about 2 lbs heavier than my Scott, ready to ride. Got to love that new technology, but this is still a great novelty.
Brrrr, seems like it flipped from being in the 80s to the 50s in a week,
Cool bike!
