New Year’s Day – 2015

A lady Costa's Hummingbird visiting Perry's Penstemon as the overnight snow melts.

This morning, Sheryl took this picture of a lady Costa’s hummingbird.

Our New Year’s Eve rain turned to snow leaving behind a two inch accumulation.  Undaunted, this lady Costa’s hummingbird visits the early blooming Parry’s Penstemon flowers for breakfast.

Ready for Christmas – 2014

After looking at the Poinsettia offered in the local stores, I believe we are ready for Christmas.
